Very mixed on this place, stayed on the way up and back from Queensland as it is dog friendly. On way up had room 3, great very clean perfect for a motel for 1 night no dog smell etc. On way back had room 8 again very clean etc but absolutely stunk if dog urine and this was clearly known by owner/manager as window was wide open to air it out. Why put carpet in a dog friendly motel???

We only stayed here because it was dog friendly. A very basic room with an old lounge and tired decor. Clean with a comfortable bed though. Would I stay again? No thanks too unkempt outside like owner’s didn’t have a clue. I expect more from accommodation, motel or not. It felt seedy.

Very basic, did the job with no bells or whistles. Maintenance is not great. My biggest issue was value for money. It was very expensive for what you got. Little things like pool area was a mess and poor cleaning of area around pool. Dishwashing soap in room to clean dishes, but no sink with plug. Noise from aircon was loud and transfer of noise between rooms was bad. If it was cheaper, this is what I would expect. We stayed in Dorrigo at a very nice retreat for the same price, with an incredible view. A tweak of pricing might be in order to align with service delivered. Saying all that, it was clean and comfortable. Ohh, and consider the place having no wifi. It’s so unstable and slow it’s unusable.

Very helpful staff. Room was large and very clean. The added bonus of a microwave, toaster and kettle with big cups was well received. Loved the little extras like the chocolates and hot chocolate sachets. So good to stay away from the busy highway. Woolworths right across the road too.

Great place to share a night with my dog at a pet friendly motel. Good location across the road from a brand new Woolworths supermarket. Room was set up for self-catering with kitchenette.

Bed bugs in both rooms in which I stayed, and a lack of apology from the arrogant folk in charge who had the hide to ask for a cleaning deposit!, which I was okay with until I was forced by my itchiness to throw the linen out at 1 am, I hadn’t used any tissues to blow my snot, but the wad pictured was under the bed when I stripped it… Disgusting. Need to lift their game, or drop their rates to flea bag rates. Never again.

The room was spacious and full of extras that we haven't found in other motels, such as a microwave, dining table and welcome chocolates. Even though on a main road, it was very quiet and located conveniently across the road from Woolworths.

I had an overnight stay at Rosebourne with my pet. Room facilities were great and had everything I needed. Handy services close by. Our host Sam was friendly and helpful.

nice and quiet a perfect place to stay for a night to break down a long drive. Easy walk to pub, beach and town about a 1km away. Woolworths accross the road to pick up travel mix.
